The clock ticks on and on, each second longer, closer but yet unreachable, surely an hours past. As the clock ticks, it’s rhythm speaks “What are you waiting for, just wait and wait, wait for the clock to tick.” Future to past it drips, done and dusted and never here. The clock always ticks, it’s always present, never ahead or behind. Too much time on my hands.

Production of Procrastination Activation took nearly 2 years from autumn 2016. It is mainly Drum & Bass but has a few slower tracks to keep things interesting. The Clock Ticks was my first proper attempt at using spoken word within music (or to put it more accurately robotic emulation of speech). It would be great to work with vocalists going forward.

While I value the effort and creative work I have committed to this album, I wish to reach as many listeners as possible, so, there is unlimited streaming and you can download the entire album for free (without submitting your email address). I believe music should be accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford it.

Why should you choose to pay for something if you can get for free?

While I am not focused solely on making money, music production is very costly. If you like what you hear and you are feeling generous, please pay whatever you feel is appropriate when you download. This will give me more creative resources, incentive to continue and make further music production possible.

If Procrastination Activation proves popular then I may release bonus content such as extra tracks that didn't quite make the final cut, that are still pretty good, additional artwork, photography, animations, written pieces and merchandise... who knows, eh!!

All the tracks on Procrastination Activation are protected by the Attribution Non-commercial Creative Commons License which lets others remix, tweak, and build upon the work non-commercially, and although their new works must also acknowledge Mixed by Robots and be non-commercial, they don’t have to license their derivative works on the same terms.
